Philippine courts can be classified as regular courts or special courts.

Regular courts are the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals, Regional Trial Courts, Metropolitan Trial Courts, Municipal Circuit Courts, Municipal Trial Courts, and Municipal Circuit Trial Courts.

Special courts, on the other hand, are Sandiganbayan, Court of Tax Appeals, and Shari’a Courts.
